The National Will Manifestation Awards announces winners in Tehran.

The National Will Manifestation Awards has announced the winners in Tehran.

Most of the prizes at the event went to ‘The Situation of Mehdi’ and ‘No Prior Appointment’ at Tehran’s Eyvan Shams Hall.

The Foundation of Martyrs and Veterans Affairs, Municipality of Tehran, Municipality of Mashhad, Mostazafan Foundation, Public Culture Council and several other organizations and institutes picked Hadi Hejazifar’s ‘The Situation of Mehdi’ as the best film.

The awards by Astan Qods Razavi, the organizational custodian of the holy shrine of Imam Reza (AS), Municipality of Mashhad, went to Behrouz Shoeibi’s ‘No Prior Appointment’.

‘Private Meeting’ directed by Omid Shams won the Judiciary award.

‘Beyro’ directed by Morteza-Ali Abbas-Mirzaee received the award by the Football Federation of Iran.

A supplement to the Fajr Film Festival (FFF), the gala presents its awards to the films promoting issues pursued by some public organizations and institutes.

Juries from the organizations select winners from the films screened at the FFF every year.

Presided over by Masoud Naqqashzadeh, the 40th FFF is took place in Tehran on February 1-11, 2022 in two cultural and competitive sections.

The FFF coincides with the Ten-Day Fajr ceremonies across Iran, marking the anniversary of the 1979 Islamic Revolution.

Since its establishment in 1982, the FFF has played a vital role in the development of Iranian Cinema.

Supervised by Iran’s Ministry of Culture, the festival hosts veteran directors and new filmmakers from Iran every year.
